Take Care of you and your jewellery

Boys - please take care of your jewellery and it will last longer!  Now we all know how much boys hate baths....  our jewellery hates baths even more!  Please take off your necklaces or bracelets before you shower or bath and before swimming to prolong their life.  They can be cleaned with a damp cloth instead.  We would also suggest putting your jewellery away in a box or drawer at the end of each day - things left lying around on the floor tend to get broken.  Obviously if your jewellery breaks within 14 days due to faulty components or poor craftsmanship, we will happily replace it.  However, if things break because they haven't been looked after then our returns policy doesn't apply.  Feel free to email us with any queries.

Product Safety

All Ben and Harry's jewellery is hand made.  We have spent a long time making, testing and changing products to end up with quality items that are fun to wear and look cool.  We have two very fussy and active product testers who have put our items through their paces, again and again and again!  Feedback so far from young and old has been positive and we feel other cool dudes will like them too. 

However, safety has always been at the forefront of our minds.  Jewellery components are obtained from reliable sources where quality is guaranteed to ensure that everything complies with safety regulations.  Necklaces are generally made with cotton or elastic cord or thread - please email us with specific requirements or questions.  For example, if your little one is a tree-climber or rugby tackler, then elastic thread may be more appropriate!  We recommend that products are not bought for the Under 6's.  However, we are currently looking at making pieces which will be available for the Over 3's.  None of our pieces of jewellery are recommended for Under 3's because of the choking hazard of small parts.  Parents are advised to buy responsibly.

Necklaces are made between approximately 15 - 17 inches in length, this will be stated in the product description.  Please just email us with your request if a specific size is required.  Please don't ask for shorter than 14 inches for safety reasons.  As all pieces are handmade, the sizes given are approximate but as close as possible to that stated.  The sizes differ because of the different beads and components used and style of piece.

Please do not let your child sleep with jewellery on as this may cause a choking hazard.

So generally, please be sensible with the jewellery and enjoy it!  Why let the girls have all the fun - Dudes look cool too.  :0)
